Have you ever heard the expression "the eyes are the window to the soul"? Well, the mouth is the window to the body's overall health! Michigan Primary Care Association recognizes that good oral health is vital to maintaining strong overall health, and we work to promote programs that increase access to quality oral health care throughout the State of Michigan.


Featured Story: MPCA Advocates for Retaining the Medicaid Adult Dental Benefit

On July 1, 2009, the Medicaid Adult Dental Benefit was eliminated by Executive Order from Governor Jennifer Granholm. In response, MPCA launched a grassroots initiative centered on reinstating this coverage in Michigan which engaged hundreds of advocates and targeted state legislators through a series of compelling postcards and emails. The benefit was reinstated in the FY 2011 budget.  The links below cover five main points that MPCA continues to stress:
