Emergency Management

Michigan Primary Care Association is working with many local, state, and national partners to assist Community Health Centers in emergency preparedness planning and response. MPCA also provides information to partners about the role of Community Health Centers in their community at all times, and the potential role of Community Health Centers in the event of an emergency.

Feature Story: Michigan Federally Qualified Health Centers Emergency Preparedness Survey 2010

The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) Office of Public Health Preparedness and the Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) commissioned the 2010 Emergency Preparedness Survey to inventory the current levels of preparedness of Michigan's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).

These reports on findings, gaps, and improvement recommendations are intended to provide guidance and resources to move FQHCs to improved readiness. Agencies invested their time in assessing their readiness to respond to agency, local, regional and even national emergencies.  Their participation in this project will benefit many in understanding the critical role that Federally Qualified Health Centers play everyday for their patients and their communities.  Below you will find templates and materials developed as a result of this project.
