Prescription Access Assistance

The purpose of the Prescription Access Assistance site is to take the user through a series of questions designed to determine which of the many drug benefit and drug discount programs available to Michigan residents will best serve a particular individual. Nearly all the programs are geared toward low-income individuals and particular eligibility requirements vary. As the user answers a series of Yes/No questions, the tool directs the user to the drug assistance program that will cost the individual the least amount of money.

Descriptions of each of the programs, along with eligibility requirements, application information, and links to related websites can be reached directly by clicking on the links at the left. The program links at the left are listed in order of decreasing savings to the patient. Those programs offering prescription drugs at no cost to the patient are listed first and those offering discounts/low cost drugs are listed later.
