A report showing how Michigan Community
Health Centers are using federal stimulus
funding from the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act of 2009 to expand services,
increase accessibility, and stimulate and
retain jobs in their communities.

Health Centers and Economic Stimulus
This National Association of Community Health
Centers hub includes an interactive map showing
the stimulus funding that individual Health Centers
have received and how they are putting that funding
to work in their communities.

2011-12 MPCA Membership Directory
This annual directory provides detailed information
about MPCA member organizations, including location,
contact information, scope of services, board of directors,
and utilization rate.

Michigan FQHC Statewide Growth Strategy FY 2011-15
This report outlines growth plans of current FQHCs, FQHC
‘Look-Alikes’, and prospective FQHCs based on a survey
conducted by MPCA and the Michigan Department of
Community Health Primary Care Office.

2010 Annual Report
Details the fiscal year accomplishments of the Michigan
Primary Care Association in promoting, supporting, and
developing Michigan Community Health Centers so they
can provide comprehensive, accessible, affordable, quality
primary and preventive care across the state.

Access to Health Care for All of Michigan
Provides background information about how the State's
environment is impacting Michigan Community Health
Centers and the priority needs of CHCs.

Cost Effectiveness of Health Centers in Michigan
This report details a Medicaid Fee for Service study
conducted by the Institute for Health Care Studies at
Michigan State University that compares Medicaid per
member per month costs of FQHC users and non-FQHC
users. It shows that Michigan Health Centers save the
State of Michigan $44.87 per member per month in State
Medicaid expenditures.

Published by MPCA in collaboration with the Michigan
Department of Community Health and the Michigan Center
for Rural Health, and funded through the U.S. Public Health
Service's Cooperative Agreement for Primary Health Care,
this profile is designed to provide communities, policy
makers, and advocates with a demographic, economic,
health status, health resource, and health insurance status
'snapshot' of primary health across Michigan at the county
and state level.
