Summary
Under general supervision, the Social Worker will provide in-depth counseling, discharge planning, and create optional outcomes for the client and family by managing complex psychosocial, physical, and economic co-morbidities. - Must demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills
- Must be able to work in a self-directed and collaborative environment
- Master’s degree from a School of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- State of Michigan Registration
- Must posses a Michigan License of a Limited Licensed Master SW (LLMSW) or be License Eligible
- Master's degree in Social Work or a Master's degree in Guidance and/Counseling required
- Experience working in the field of mental illness, substance abuse and/or homelessness preferred
- Experience working with Native American children and families preferred
