among health center staff. Representatives come together in these
forums to discuss issues and share ideas.
Behavioral
Health Network

clinicians and clinical administrators of behavioral health services.
Addresses the unique challenges of integrating behavioral health
services into the primary care setting by sharing best practices
and developing strategies to address challenges. Ongoing continuing
education is provided through conferences. Meets the last Thursday
of every month at 1 pm.

Managers Network

(face-to-face and/or via conference call). Discuss wide-ranging
topics from Medicare Advantage Plans and NPI numbers to collection
policies and payment plans.Participants also have the option of
joining the group's e-mail listserv to solicit input from each other
on billing issues relevant to their health centers.

Primary Care Nurses Network (MPCNN)

Supports the
frontline nursing staff as well as nurse managers who work in Michigan's
Community and Migrant Health Centers. At least one representative
from each health center receives information via the MPCNN listserv
and e-mail, and shares this information with all other nurses at
all of its center's sites. A face-to-face meeting is held every
spring.
