Overview:

Michigan Health Center administrative and executive assistants, you are invited to attend a one-day training designed just for you on June 3, 2014, at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, Michigan. The interactive agenda includes topics such as, "What Makes a Dynamic Administrative Assistant" and, “How to Manage Your Boss and Your Duties at the Same Time.” Other discussions will focus on how you can help increase awareness of and promote your Health Center (everyone has a role in communications and marketing); best practices for interacting with board members, and other board governance topics; and much more!

We are planning a late afternoon outing at Grand Traverse Commons on Monday, June 2nd, for wine tasting, shopping, and dinner. Grand Traverse Commons is located only two miles from the Great Wolf Lodge and has two wineries, shops, and a highly recommended restaurant called “Trattoria Stella”. If attending, you should arrive at Great Wolf Lodge by 3:30 pm or so. We will meet in the hotel lobby and leave by 4 pm.

The cost of the outing will be on your own. Wine tasting at each winery should not cost more than $5. Click here for dinner menu prices at Trattoria Stella’s. We’ll plan to return to Great Wolf Lodge in time for you to still go down the slide in the waterpark. Don’t forget your bathing suit!

Registration Fee: $130

A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
