MPCA Participating in Yellow Jug Old Drugs Program
Friday, January 24, 2014
MPCA is collaborating with the Great Lakes Clean Water Organization's Yellow Jug Old Drugs Program.
To-date, the community-based program has collected and properly
disposed of more than 45.75 tons of unused/unwanted drugs to help keep
our water clean. Several Michigan Health Centers and MPCA members are
currently participating in the program, and now is the ideal time for
your pharmacy to join the collaboration to increase awareness of the
importance of properly disposing of unused/unwanted drugs. Click here to watch a documentary film for more information, and click here to sign up your Health Center's pharmacy as a partner.
