340B Recertification Begins February 10
Friday, February 07, 2014
Annual recertification of 340B program eligibility for HRSA Health
Center grantees and Look-Alikes will begin next Monday, February 10,
HRSA's Office of Pharmacy Affairs
(OPA) requires that all 340B-covered entities recertify their site and
contact information in the 340B database each year to continue
participating in the 340B program. Failure to recertify will result in
removal from the program.
HRSA will automatically
update the database to match information on file in HRSA’s electronic
handbooks system (EHB) but authorizing officials should review any
changes and certify that all data is accurate. Major discrepancies
should be brought to OPA's attention via email to email@example.com.
An educational webinar
was presented on January 22, 2014—audio from the session is
unfortunately not available but viewers can follow the closed captions.
Questions on recertification can be directed to Apexus, a service of the
340B prime vendor program, at 1.888.340.2787 or by sending an email to ApexusAnswers@340bpvp.com. Please have your 340B ID available.
