After just 10 days since the Healthy Michigan Plan opened, a total of 85,761 Michiganders have enrolled. Of that total, 32,071 have enrolled since the April 1 launch and more than 50,000 individuals were transitioned to Healthy Michigan from the previous Medicaid Adult Benefit Waivers. That means the state has reached more than 25% of its anticipated first year enrollment goals.

“Our residents will be healthier and our state stronger as people enroll in Healthy Michigan,” Governor Rick Snyder said in a press release.

Eventually, the Healthy Michigan Plan will provide coverage to more than 470,000 Michiganders. The Michigan Department of Community Health plans to post Healthy Michigan Plan enrollment data online every Tuesday at 3 pm ET.
