The Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (LHHS) of the U.S. Senate approved its Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 spending bill on June 10, 2014. The bill provides $5.1 billion in total program funding for the Health Centers program in FY 2015. Should the legislation become law, it will allow Health Centers to expand their capacity to deliver access to primary care to an estimated 11 million additional patients.
