Four Michigan Health Centers Among Awardees of Mental Health Services Funding

On July 31, 2014, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced $54.6 million in Affordable Care Act funding to support the establishment or expansion of behavioral health services at 221 Health Centers across the country. Among the awardees are four Michigan Health Center organizations: Alcona Health Center, Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Mercy Health-Saint Mary's Community Health Centers, and Wayne County Healthy Communities Health Center. This funding is projected to increase access to behavioral health care for over 450,000 people nationwide. Read more
