MPCA Accepting Applications for Oral Health Program Technical Assistance Opportunity
Monday, October 13, 2014
As we announced on October 7, 2014, MPCA is pleased that it has been chosen to participate in the DentaQuest Foundation’s Strengthening the Oral Health Safety Net (SOHSN) initiative as a state primary care association partner for the third consecutive year.
SOHSN addresses the challenges that Health Centers, as safety net providers, face in providing comprehensive primary and preventive services to improve the oral and overall health of people who might otherwise go without the care they need, were it not for their local Health Center.
MPCA is accepting applications from Michigan Health Centers interested in participating in this exciting opportunity for growth and improvement of their oral health program. Michigan Health Centers that are considering or are in the planning stages of starting an oral health program are also eligible to participate. The application deadline is November 14, 2014.
Michigan Health Centers selected to participate in this initiative will receive in-depth practice management technical assistance from Safety Net Solutions that is valued at $45,000. Click here for more information about the initiative.
