RFP Issued for Local Cancer Prevention and Control

The Comprehensive Cancer Control Unit within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has released a Request For Proposal (RFP) for Cancer Control Community Implementation Projects from 2015-2017. The RFP is for contracts beginning Nov. 1, 2015.
The purpose of the RFP is to increase local cancer prevention and control activities as well as promote breast, cervical, colorectal, and lung cancer screening. By working with local community organizations and using proven strategies, strides can be made to reduce cancer morbidity and mortality and improve cancer survivorship.
