MPCA Recognizes Local Physician as Clinician of the Year

Catherine Kroll, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) was honored as the 2015 Clinician of the Year at Michigan Primary Care Association’s (MPCA) annual conference. The award is given to honor a Michigan Health Center clinician who exemplifies leadership, dedication, and commitment to providing quality health care to Michigan residents.
MPCA also recognized, UGL board member, Patricia Johnson with a 2015 Distinguished Service Award for her commitment to providing quality health care to the underserved throughout the Upper Great Lakes region. She has been a board member with UGL since its inception and has served on the Executive/Finance Committee and as Board Secretary throughout her tenure. Additionally, Johnson has taken it upon herself to participate in the Compliance and Performance Improvement Committee. In addition, she chairs the Governance Committee and has served on the Behavioral Health Integration Committee.
