HHS Announces $685 Million to Support Clinicians Delivering High Quality, Patient-Centered Care

On September 29, 2015, U.S. Health & Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell announced $685 million in awards to 39 national and regional health care networks and supporting organizations to help equip more than 140,000 clinicians with the tools and support needed to improve quality of care, increase patients' access to information and reduce costs.
Several national and Michigan network providers were awardees including American Board of Family Medicine, American College of Emergency Physicians, American College Physicians, American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, HCD International, National Nursing Centers Consortium, Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement, Patient-Centered Primary Care Foundation, National Rural Accountable Care Consortium, The Trustees of Indiana University, VHA/UHC Alliance Newco, Inc., and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
