Jackson, MI - U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg was praised as a “Distinguished Community Health Advocate” with an award given March 3, 2016, by the Center for Family Health.
“The Congressman has served as an advocate for health centers in Washington, which we appreciate mightily,” said Molly Kaser, CEO of the Center for Family Health.
Walberg, a Republican from Tipton, received the award at a preview event attended by about 80 community leaders at a new dental center constructed by the Center for Family Health 500 N. Jackson Street.
The Dental Center will open in April with 20 dental chairs. The facility will allow the Center for Family Health to expand dental services to adult patients who receive medical care at the Center.
