Alcona, Thunder Bay, Other Community Partners Partner on Healthy Food Education

Alcona Health Center and Thunder Bay Community Health Services are partnering with Health Departments, physicians and Michigan State University Extension alongside local retailers and markets to increase the fruits and vegetable consumption for residents in northeast rural Michigan.
In addition to six weekly educational session, vouches for fruits and vegetables will be available. In addition to fruits and vegetables, the partners hope to encourage consistent physical activity - influence a sustainable lifestyle change.
