Center for Family Health Ribbon Cutting Scheduled
Tuesday, May 17, 2016
JACKSON, MI – The public is invited to see the new Center for Family Health (CFH) Dental Clinic at an open-house celebration 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 17, 2016.
Completed this spring at 500 N. Jackson Street, the Dental Clinic has 22,000 square feet of clinical and office space on two floors, and another 11,000 square feet in the basement. Construction and equipment costs represent an $8.5 million investment by CFH and its generous community donors.
The new clinic has 20 dental chairs, expanding previous capacity for CFH dental services. The new building will allow an expansion of dental services for adults who are medical patients at the Center.
The May 17 event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the facility. Light refreshments will be provided.
“Oral health is essential to good overall health, but many adults in Jackson County live with pain because they’ve had no access to dental care,” said Molly Kaser, president and CEO of the Center for Family Health. “We are delighted to open our beautiful new Dental Clinic as part of our mission to expand access to health care in Jackson.”
