Michigan Medicaid EHR Incentive Program

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 created the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program to provide financial incentives for qualifying Medicaid service providers, or Eligible Professionals (EPs). EPs may receive up to $63,750 under the Michigan Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, available over six payment years. The goal is to encourage the adoption, implementation, and meaningful use of certified electronic health records (EHRs) in ways that improve quality, increase efficiency, and promote safety.
