AmeriHealth VIP Care Plus is a Medicare Advantage special needs plan for dual-eligible Michigan residents covered by Medicaid and Medicare. AmeriHealth VIP Care Plus works with local physicians, hospitals, community organizations, and others to help members get care, stay well, and build healthy communities. AmeriHealth VIP Care Plus allows members access to a comprehensive provider network and prescription formulary that ensures they can improve and maintain their overall health.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 created the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program to provide financial incentives for qualifying Medicaid service providers, or Eligible Professionals (EPs).
