MPCA Payment Reform Webinar Series

Each of the webinars in the series are brief (9 -13 minutes) so the webinar and the discussion on the material can be included in a regularly scheduled Board of Directors meetings.

  • Webinars 1 - 3 in the series describe what payment reform is, why it is receiving so much
attention, and how it is relevant for Health Centers.
  • Webinars 4 and 5 build on this background and discuss Michigan opportunities and the
readiness of Michigan Health Centers as whole to engage in payment reform.
  • Webinar 6 explores how board member roles and responsibilities relate to payment
    reform initiatives.

It is recommended the webinars be used in the order presented. They could be used at a series of regularly scheduled board meetings or at a longer meeting set aside to focus on payment reform. You are encouraged to use the webinars as they best fit your Health Centers’ needs.

A discussion guide is available and provides an overview of the series, presents discussion questions to be used in conjunction with each of the webinars, and provides information about additional resources on Health Centers and payment reform.

Should you have questions about the material presented in the webinars or need further information, please contact Nashia Choudhury, MPCA Health Center Growth Specialist, at nchoudhury@mpca.net or 517.827.0475.
