Kelly Engstrom, MBA, MPH has over 15 years of management consulting experience serving a broad range of clients in the health, defense and non-profit sectors. Kelly’s work focuses on helping her clients identify, develop and implement innovative solutions that address complex issues and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Kelly is a skilled strategist, communicator and facilitator, and is experienced in a wide range of meeting facilitation techniques and tools, such as graphic facilitation, data visualization, and collaborative design.

Kelly is currently a Managing Director with Ward Circle Strategies, a veteran-owned small business, where she provides strategic communication and analytic consulting support services to a number of non-profit and federal government clients, including the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the National Association of Community Health Centers, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Prior to joining Ward Circle Strategies, Kelly was a Senior Manager in the Strategy Practice of Deloitte Consulting LLP where some of her responsibilities included developing Deloitte’s Federal Innovation Strategy service offering and facilitating client meetings in Deloitte’s Analytic HIVE (Highly Immersive Visual Experience). Kelly also completed a strategy fellowship at Deloitte where she focused on developing a social business strategy for the Deloitte U.S. Firms.

Kelly holds a bachelors degree in Chemistry and Economics from Swarthmore College, and has dual masters’ degrees in Business Administration and Public Health from Columbia University in New York City. 

   

   

    

  

   

Brian Hurley, as CEO of Ward Circle Strategies, leads the firm’s health communications strategies and provides strategic consulting to the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs) and other senior health leaders in the Department of Defense. An Air Force veteran and military retiree, Brian has deep expertise in military health and veterans issues and brings over 20 years’ experience in public and health policy. He has led engagements with the Department of Veterans Affairs on interagency care coordination, as well as engagements with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) that promote hiring of veterans in federally qualified health centers. 

  

  

  

  

  

Gina Capra, Director of the Office of Rural Health at the Veterans Health Administration within the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Gina and her team work to increase access to care for over 3.2 M rural Veterans currently enrolled in the VA healthcare system. One of her priorities is increasing communication and collaboration between VA health care entities and PCAs/community health centers. Prior to joining VA in April 2013, Gina served 15 years with HRSA, including 6 years at the Bureau of Primary Health Care as the Northeast Division Director and 8 years in the Boston Regional Office of Field Operations and then Office of Performance Review.

  

  

 

  

   

 

Jim Jones, Director, Provider Network Management for Health Net Federal Services. Jim has over 22 years of experience developing provider networks and has been proudly supporting TRICARE and VA Programs in this position for 8 years.
