|Data and Statistics|
There are many uses for data and statistics by Health Centers, and Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) is committed to helping current and prospective Michigan Health Centers utilize data in meaningful ways to advance the Health Center mission.
Data & Statistics Resources
Housed within the MPCA website is a wealth of educational and resource materials on a variety of topics relevant to Michigan Health Centers and the delivery of primary and preventive care to medically underserved areas and populations. To access Behavioral Health Integration Resources you may search the website by keyword using the search field at the top of this page, or you may search the Data and Statistics Resources webpage.
MPCA provides individualized support in creating a customized community needs assessment for the purposes of community development and strategic planning. This spans a collection of community specific data that includes both primary and secondary sources. Community specific maps can also be created that highlight factors such as income, insurance status, Health Center penetration, location of Health Centers and other safety net providers, and federal shortage designations.
Maps allow one to see data portrayed in a geographical manner. This affords the ability to view where resources and need are dispersed throughout the state. As a result, this offers one a better visualization of how the data is affecting local communities. To view a variety of maps that can be used to visually demonstrate a range of data points, visit the Data and Statistics Maps webpage.
