Michigan Health Centers' Outreach and Enrollment Work Making an Impact

Michigan Health Centers now have hundreds of skilled staff members serving in outreach and enrollment capacities statewide. Each quarter, MPCA receives an update on the efforts of those staff in assisting eligible patients and community members in getting signed up for coverage. During the most recent quarter (April-June 2014), Michigan Health Centers provided 54,158 enrollment assistance encounters for patients and community members. Michigan Health Center staff worked to submit 21,194 applications for coverage and were able to positively enroll 18,963 individuals. Cumulatively (since July 2013), Michigan Health Centers have provided 135,877 assistance encounters, submitted 42,646 applications for coverage, and enrolled 34,658 individuals. Health Centers’ commitment to outreach and enrollment is certainly evidenced in this impressive impact! Read more
