|Faces of MI Health Centers: Wilburn Family|
Kenneth & Betty Wilburn
Patients | InterCare Community Health Network | Bangor, MI
"I started coming here 15 years ago; I didn't have a dentist and my doctor referred me here," said Emma Wilburn, mother of Kenneth, 7 years, and Betty, 4 years. Kenneth and Betty are now also patients at InterCare Community Health Network in Bangor, Michigan. "They make me and my kids comfortable, they are kind, nice, and keep us smiling. Kenneth will let them give him shots, do anything," said Emma. "We won't go to any other dentist. It means a lot to keep my kids comfortable and I will stay here as long as my dentist does."
Share Your Story
Personal stories bring to life the
value of Health Centers and how they benefit patients, families, and
communities, and what they mean to board members, providers, staff, and
volunteers. MPCA invites you to share how the Health Center in your
community has impacted you and your family. If you live in a community
that doesn't have a Health Center but would like to establish one, we
want to hear how it would benefit your neighbors and the community as a
whole. If you work/volunteer for an organization that partners with a
Health Center we want to hear from you, too! Please share with us how
this partnership is powering healthier communities.
Please complete the form below, or you may email your story.
We also welcome your photos, a video or audio recording, and typed and
handwritten testimonials (mail to MPCA: Faces of MI Health Centers, 7215
Westshire Drive, Lansing, MI 48917). If you need assistance with audio
or video recording, please let us know.
