With a large group of new state legislators taking offic e this year\, it’s a critical time to build relationships with legislato rs\, some of which will be spending the next decade in Lansing.\n\nEvents Schedule\n\n Thursday\, April 6 (Noon – 1 p.m.): MPCA Legislative Forum Prep Session (Virtual)\n Monday\, April 10 (2 – 4:30 p.m.): Advocacy L eads Meeting (In-person\, Lansing\, Member Organization Advocacy Leads Onl y)\n Monday\, April 10 (5 – 7 p.m.): Friends of Michigan’s Community Health Centers Dinner (In-person\, Lansing)\; Please note this is not an M PCA event but we are including information about it here because many Legi slative Forum attendees may be interested in participating.\n Tuesday\, A pril 11 (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.): MPCA Legislative Forum (In-Person\, Lansing)\ n\nRegistration \n\nMPCA Legislative Forum Prep Session\nDuring the prep s ession we’ll cover what you can expect during Legislative Forum and our state policy priorities for the year. If you register to participate in the event\, Zoom login information for the Prep Session will be emailed to you in advance of the session.\n\nMPCA Advocacy Leads Meeting (Advocac y Leads Only)\nMPCA’s Government Affairs and Advocacy staff will be host ing a meeting with Advocacy Leads from all member organizations statewide to support advocacy organizing and grassroots advocacy engagement in your organization. The meeting will include conversations on state and federal advocacy strategy\, training and resource sharing and development\, and in tentional peer connections. Each member organization’s designated advoca cy lead is encouraged to attend and the meeting will be held at MPCA’s h eadquarters in Lansing.
