Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) is coordinating a comprehensive, in-person kickoff for the Health Center Innovations in Substance Use Disorder Treatment Grant. The kickoff will start with a grantee meeting the night of June 6 and a robust training for all health center care team members and administrative staff on June 7 and 8. The agenda will be posted once it is complete.

MPCA will provide financial support for the training and overnight accommodations on June 6 and 7. Advanced registration is required. Health centers eligible for hotel accommodations for their care teams (e.g., Authorizing Grant Official, Project Lead, Physician, Nurse Care Manager, CHW or Peer Recovery Coach, and LMSW or LPC positions) include Family Health Center, Inc., Family Medical Center of Michigan, Hamilton Community Health Network, InterCare Community Health Network, and Traverse Health Clinic.

Health centers receiving hotel accommodations must provide hotel information on the event page when registering. Lindsey Naeyaert will make your reservations and send you the hotel confirmation number.

PLEASE NOTE: Any “no-shows” or cancellations not received before the cancellation deadline will be invoiced for the cost of the hotel room. (The cancellation date is May 30,2018)

Grantee Meeting

All health center grantee leadership (grantee authorizing official and/or project lead) is required to attend the grantee meeting. This will be a great opportunity for all participating health centers to network with each other and share updates on the progress of the grant with MPCA. The dinner will be located at DoubleTree by Hilton-Dearborn from 5:30–7:30 p.m. An agenda will be added once it is finalized.
