Overview

This training aims to help organizations in moving from understanding the effects of substance use disorder and trauma on the lives of those served to implementing principles of trauma-informed care and substance use disorder services.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the values based principles and domains of the SAMHSA's Concept of Trauma and Guidance for a Trauma-Informed approach
  • Learn the OBAT laws and regulations in the State of Michigan

  • Supervisors and administrators 
  • Front desk staff
  • Advocates

  • 20 person registration limit for teleconference 

 

Only health centers who are located in the UP and Northern MI can register for the teleconference registration.
