Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) and partners are developing a comprehensive agenda complete with educational and networking opportunities for all health professionals, with an emphasis on primary care, substance use disorder, and behavioral health providers. As the agenda develops, MPCA is focusing on policy and legal issues, clinical issues including training, provider limitations, pain management clinics, care management strategies, family and social supports, partnerships (i.e. drug courts, DOC, etc.), coordination of services across disciplines internally or with external partners, or other innovative approaches to providing coordinated comprehensive care to substance use disorder (SUD) patients. We trust that the day will be full of valuable insight for you to take back to your home clinic, whether you have been providing substance use services for a while, or if you are newly offering services within your clinics.
