The State of Michigan will begin accepting applications for the Healthy Michigan Plan on April 1, 2014. Michigan residents can enroll at any time online, by phone, or in person at a local Michigan Department of Human Services office to find out if they're eligible for coverage. Continue to visit for more information on how to apply.

"Through their tireless efforts to implement the Healthy Michigan Plan, the Michigan Department of Community Health, Governor Snyder, and the Michigan Legislature are ensuring that health insurance coverage is extended to low-income working adults in our state who are most in need because they are currently uninsured or underinsured,” said Kim Sibilsky, Chief Executive Officer, MPCA. “This is one more step toward ensuring all Michigan residents have access to comprehensive, accessible, and affordable health care, the foundation on which Health Centers were established nearly 50 years ago.” Click here to read Kim's statement in its entirety.

MPCA and partners statewide are hosting a Healthy Michigan Plan update webinar on March 28, at 11 am ET. The webinar will feature a number of timely topics to inform partner outreach and enrollment assistance before the April 1 enrollment start.
