Lansing, MI, September 30, 2015 – Denise Crawford, President and CEO, Family Health Center, Inc., Kalamazoo, Michigan, has been named Board Chair for the Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA), the association for Michigan Health Centers.

“It is an exciting time for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), having advanced from neighborhood and back-door clinics, to the largest health care delivery system for underserved individuals all across America,” states Crawford. “FQHCs have mastered the skill of delivering high-quality health care with dignity and compassion in a cost-efficient manner; we are a leading force in today’s health care environment. I am honored to be associated with such a dynamic group of caring and progressive individuals and look forward to serving as the Board President for the association representing Michigan Health Centers.”
