Providing quality, comprehensive, affordable, community-responsive health care is the heart of all Health Centers. This includes primary and preventive medical care, dental care, and behavioral health care, as well as pharmacy services. MPCA assists Michigan Health Centers in care delivery by providing training, technical assistance, educational opportunities, and communication networks. Services available include, but are not limited to:

  • Listservs to facilitate communication and the dissemination of information
  • Access to data and information
  • Education and training, both in-person and virtual
  • Liaison between partner organizations
  • Advocacy of behalf of clinicians and clinical services

Housed within the MPCA website is a wealth of educational and resource materials on a variety of topics relevant to Michigan Health Centers and the delivery of primary and preventive care to medically underserved areas and populations. The Clinical Services and Quality Department at the Michigan Primary Care Association hosts three committees made up of Health Center Members. These committees consist of the MQIN Leadership Committee, Clinical Services Committee and Integrated Data System Advisory Committee.
