A Growing and Progressive Community Health Center (with seven (7) locations throughout the metro Detroit area) has an immediate opening for a Clinical Psychologist for a busy primary care practice in a patient friendly ambulatory setting.
Position Description
This position will facilitate the mission of Detroit Community Health Connection to ensure the delivery of quality patient care and coordination of direct patient care within the Health Centers. This position will administer to the needs of the patients by following the scope of practice and standards of care accurately. This Position involves providing expert psychological care and support to DCHC’s patients and helping them to navigate complex mental, emotional and behavioral issues effectively.

Required Education: Doctoral Degree from an accredited program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a Psychologist
- Previous ambulatory experience preferred; experience with dual-diagnosed patients (highly desired)
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant mental health practices, protocols, trends and best practices in clinical areas assigned
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques
License/Certification:
- Licensed to practice medicine in Michigan
- Doctoral Degree from an accredited program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- BLS Certification
