Overview
If your health center offers nutrition services or is interested in integrating healthy eating and lifestyle promotion into your clinical care and patient engagement strategies, please join us for MPCA’s Food, Nutrition, and Healthy Lifestyle Workgroup Series for 2026-2027!
Open to Health Centers interested in peer-learning, technical assistance, and developing strategies around food, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle promotion programs and services.
The purpose of this group is to prepare and strategize to align with the US Department of Health and Human Services priorities and funding opportunities, as well as leverage supportive State and Federal policies. Food and nutrition services may include facilitating referrals for ILOS services, partnering with local food and nutrition programs and services, providing health coaching or nutritionist services, facilitating on-site access to a food pantry, or offering cooking classes. Healthy lifestyle services may include health coaching to promote physical activity, facilitating or hosting group fitness or movement classes, or providing other health behavior change resources.
