WASHINGTON, D.C.–Last week, HHS announced additional measures to encourage vaccinations and increase vaccine confidence as part of the next phase of its COVID-19 public education campaign. The Administration is launching the COVID-19 Community Corps – a nationwide, grassroots network of local voices people know and trust who will encourage family, friends, and neighbors to get vaccinated.
When deciding whether to get vaccinated, research shows people want to hear from those they trust, such as medical professionals and leaders in their community. The Administration will regularly provide updated public health information and resources for Community Corps members to share with their communities.
Health centers, we encourage you to join the HHS COVID-19 Community Corps.
HHS also released TV ads encouraging vaccinations, as well as campaign resources, toolkits, and social media messages for Americans to share support of vaccines with the message “We Can Do This.”
