Overview
MPCA’s Coverage Support and Outreach Community Monthly Virtual Meetings provide a dedicated space for Michigan community health center staff to stay informed, connected, and supported as the healthcare landscape continues to evolve in response to the provisions in H.R. 1.
In particular, these 60-minute virtual sessions will prepare health centers for changes impacting Healthy Michigan Plan enrollees with more frequent Medicaid redeterminations, exemption or hardship criteria, and work requirements reporting. The Coverage Support and Outreach Community will also tackle some broader insurance coverage needs as well.
Participants will gain the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to protect patients at risk of losing insurance coverage. During our time together, we will discuss practical strategies across leadership, finance, operations, patient engagement and outreach, communications, data, and technology to help health centers meet this moment in healthcare.
Target Audience
This monthly community meeting is ideal for CHC senior leaders, outreach and enrollment team members, population health and quality managers, HIT specialists, clinic and operations leaders, and organizational leadership dedicated to strengthening coverage continuity.
