Overview

On March 4, the Michigan Primary Care Association will host the 2026 MPCA Legislative Forum in Lansing. This event offers health centers a valuable opportunity to highlight their mission and challenges, as well as engage with legislators on key policy priorities. This forum will once again take place at Heritage Hall within the Michigan State Capitol. Please Note: Each organization will be offered ONE complimentary registration. 

Heritage Hall, which is located inside the Michigan State Capitol, is new and opened in November 2022. If you’ve never been to Heritage Hall, you can take a virtual tour here, as well as hear some of its history. At the 6:29 mark, you’ll be able to view the area where our Forum will be held.

Registration Fee Waiver Available

One of MPCA’s driving principles is collaboration, including bringing together member organizations to encourage sharing and learning. We establish registration costs for events to be as cost-effective as possible, but are always happy to waive a registration fee to support a member organization’s ability to participate in our events. We truly believe our events and the learning experiences member organizations have when they participate are better when we have as many people and perspectives participating as possible; please don’t hesitate to reach out to Amber Desgranges at [email protected] if cost is a barrier to participating in this event to request a registration fee waiver.

Parking

You must park on the street or use the public parking ramps. Parking spots on Capitol Square have a 2-3 -hour parking maximum. The closest parking ramps are on the North Capitol Ramp or North Grand Ramp.

Arriving at Heritage Hall – doors are not opened until 8 a.m.

Upon arrival, you will have to pass through security. Michigan State Police will be at all entrances.

Self-parking: $15 max per day, or 1.50 per 1/2 hour

Your group booking link is listed below. Just a reminder—the room block cut-off date is 02/09/2026. Please note that the Hilton system has now changed the way taxes and fees are presented. The room rate will initially appear higher, but when you click into the reservation, you’ll see the actual rate for the room is what we have contracted.

To make a room reservation please click on DoubleTree by Hilton Lansing.

  1. Once you select the room type, complete the Hotel Booking Form.
    1. For date adjustment needs, please change the Check-in and Check-out date box at the top of site.
  2. The booking form will ask for the guest details and email address.
  3. The secure payment option is the section of the booking form that holds your credit card details. Input your credit card information.
  4. Once you have completed this step click the “Make Reservation” button and your reservation will be sent immediately to the Hotel.

To make a room reservation by phone call 1-833-904-2206, and reservations can assist with securing rooms. It is important that you identify yourself as part of the Michigan Primary Care Association group and provide reservations under the code “92N” to receive the discounted group rate.

Please ensure your reservations are made before the cutoff date of 02/09/2026.
