Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

Community pharmacy is broken. Nearly every community pharmacy is a nightmare of long lines, complicated metrics, phones that never stop ringing, and unobtainable goals – and worst of all, they often fail to meet the needs of the patient. At Health Park Pharmacy we are changing how community pharmacy works. We work constantly to ensure our patients receive the absolute best care. We strive to know our patients by name, and they are never just a number. Our pharmacy staff put patients first by finding simple solutions to complicated problems and make every effort to empower our patients to play an active role in their own healthcare. Our ultimate mission is to inspire our patients to achieve better health outcomes, and make pharmacy encounters easy and enjoyable for staff and patients. We need your help!

We are looking for some great staff who enjoy helping patients. You should love making complicated situations simple and painless and have a passion for our mission. You’ll be responsible for providing excellent patient care for Health Park Pharmacy and Isabella Citizens for Health. You’ll help us interact with patients and other members of the healthcare team via phone, messaging, and in person. You will create and maintain accurate documentation in patient profiles, check in the daily order, process returns, as well as help to manage MedSync and inventory. In addition, you may be expected to perform local deliveries, if needed. You will work scheduled shifts with the expectation of being somewhat flexible.

We prefer an experienced technician who can multitask and work in a team environment that includes both pharmacy and clinical staff (Medical Assistants, Nurses, Prescribers, Community Health Workers, etc.). We have a strong preference for technicians who are comfortable giving vaccinations, have experience with 340B, and want to make the pharmacy (and our community) a better place. Come and see how pharmacy was meant to be!

  • Experience in a pharmacy setting.

  • Customer service or healthcare experience.
