Mark your calendars for the 2025 Cancer Forum scheduled for Monday, May 19, 2025, at Fort Pontchartrain in Detroit.

This conference aims to empower participants with knowledge and resources to enhance cancer care and screening accessibility. Focus areas include insurance navigation, survivorship and social support, and community outreach initiatives.

This event is jointly being provided to you by Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) and the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS).


Target Audience

The content of this conference will be relevant to a wide range of health center roles, diciplines, and service, including:

  • Executive, Operational, Financial, Clinical and Dental Leadership
  • Clinicians (MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD, DDS/DMD)
  • Quality Improvement Staff
  • Clinical and Non-clinical Support Staff (Care Managers, BH Specialists, Medical Assistants, CHWs, Social Workers, RDH, Dental Assistants etc.) Patient Navigators, Health Educators, and Public Health Specialists)

We are applying for the following types of continuing education credits.

4 Nursing Contact Hours

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Social Work

This continuing professional development activity has been submitted to the State of Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative (CEC) for approval to award continuing education credits, an accredited approver by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Community Health Worker (CHW) 

This educational activity has been submitted to MiCHWA for approval to award CHW CEUs.
