Mark your calendars for the annual Uniform Data System (UDS) Training that will be conducted virtually in a series of two (2) trainings as follows. Participants should plan to attend both sessions for a full and comprehensive understanding of the complete UDS report. Each session includes one 5-minute break.

Trainer: Alec McKinney, MBA
Mr. McKinney has been with JSI for more than 20 years and has nearly 30 years’ experience in health care. While at JSI, Mr. McKinney has contributed to a variety of research and consultation projects with local, state, and federal agencies as well as foundations, community collaboratives, integrated delivery systems/ACOs, hospitals, and other community-based health and social service providers. Over the past 10 years, he has worked extensively on projects related to health system strengthening and service delivery/payment reform, including projects related to Medicaid transformation, multi-sector service integration, and population health improvement. Mr. McKinney leads many of JSI’s large service delivery and population health improvement projects and his areas of technical expertise include: community health needs assessment; health system panning; organizational planning and capacity building; primary care operations; behavioral health integration; chronic disease management; and acute and behavioral health care transitions. Mr. McKinney has also worked extensively with community health centers as a UDS training/reviewer and as consultant providing technical assistance related to needs assessment, strategic planning, and new program development. Mr. McKinney has been a UDS trainer for more than 10 years, a UDS reviewer for nearly 20 years, and has worked with dozens of health centers providing a wide breadth of technical assistance.
