Overview
MPCA is partnering with Association of Rural and Community Health Professional Coding (ArchProCoding) to host a Community Health – Coding and Biling Specialist Training for health center staff. ArchProCoding will spend a day and a half reviewing clinical documentation, coding and billing requirements specific to FQHCs, particularly for Medicare. MPCA would encourage staff in revenue cycle teams, clinical and administrative leaders to join us for this training in an effort to better understand the FQHC requirements and payment structure.
This training is designed to prepare attendees for an optional exam to become a Certified Community Health Coding and Billing Specialist (CH-CBS). More information about this exam and benefits will be shared during the meeting. Additionally, ArchProCoding and AAPC CEUs are available as part of this training. Please feel free to reach out to Kelsea Frazier ([email protected]) or Hillary Corser ([email protected]) with any questions or concerns.
