Overview
Michigan Health Information Network (MiHIN) has embarked on a full upgrade of its technical environment. Aspects of their existing system, including Health Connect (what the FQHC’s may know as VIPR or Virtual Integrated Patient Record), will no longer be supported in the Spring of 2025 and will be replaced with a solution which will offer more robust data and flexible/scalable capabilities. The replacement for VIPR will be a longitudinal record viewer accessed through a MiHIN tool called MIGateway. MiHIN will be migrating current VIPR users to MIGateway by provisioning user accounts to ensure they maintain access to clinical data like they do today using VIPR.
Presentation Objectives:
-
- Provide the most up to date information on VIPR sunsetting (dates)
- Provide information on MIGateway including a brief demo to show the product and the user experience
- Provide information on the new Longitudinal Record/Viewer including a brief demo and screenshots to show the product and user experience
- Discuss the process of onboarding/migrating those who are currently using VIPR who will be migrated to MIGateway”
