Overview
MPCA recently received a new Rural Health Transformation LOI opportunity for the Rural Data Integration and Infrastructure Fund.
The Rural Data Integration and Infrastructure Fund will advance interoperability and digital infrastructure for rural and left-behind providers by enhancing data integration and connectivity. The FQHC cohort is being funded to increase rural provider participation in health information and community information exchange, upgrade technology infrastructure to support best practices and quality improvements, and other efforts.
The LOI asks MPCA to implement a variety of activities with health centers including electronic health record improvement or enhancements, onboarding to new software or adjusting existing workflows to maximize new or existing tools, supporting health information exchange integration, supporting community information exchange integration, and other related activities and/or use cases MPCA identifies with health centers.
During this session, we’ll discuss how health centers would like to utilize these funds and the structure of funding to eligible centers to prepare the LOI for submission.
