The Director of Behavioral Health Services works collaboratively with the staff of the clinical programs to ensure compliance with agency and clinical standards, as well as federal, state, local and third-party payer expectations. The Director will develop and maintain operations to maximize clinical efficiencies and quality objectives while achieving productivity requirements. The Director of Behavioral Health Services will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordination of clinical practices within the agency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required
- Current State of Michigan licensure in one of the following: LMSW, LLP or LP required
- Minimum of five (5) years of recent leadership experience required
- Must meet all Continuing Education requirements.
- Knowledge of PCMH
- Expert knowledge of community mental health policies, procedures, supervision strategies and current evidence based clinical practice.
