SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in collaboration with the CEO; provides comprehensive primary medical care services for individuals and families on a continuing basis regardless of age, race or sex.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Examines patients for symptoms.
Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history.
Orders or executes various diagnostic tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.
Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
Promotes health and advises patients of diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.
May provide prenatal care to pregnant women and provides postnatal care to mothers and infants.
May perform surgical office procedures.
Refers patients to medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patient’s wellbeing.
Additional clinical or administrative duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or Chief Executive Officer to promote the success and welfare of the organization.
Maintains a courteous, helpful and conscientious attitude in dealing with co-workers and patients and their families ensuring professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Regular and Prompt attendance at work.
All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSING, CERTIFICATES AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). Current State of Michigan Physician License, current DEA License, and a current Controlled Substance License. Board certification.
