Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatry (NP-PSYCH)

Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver quality health care services, focused on assessing and treating mental health needs, including medication management services for patients who have mental health disorders or substance abuse problems. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team within the scope of licensure, privileges granted, and under the supervision of assigned physician.

Practice opportunity details include:

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited psychiatric nurse practitioner training program.
  • State of Michigan unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner specialty certification.
  • Possess current DEA and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Michigan.
  • Evidence of basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Experience maintaining confidential information and adherence to HIPAA and CFR 42 Part 2.
  • Two years relevant experience, preferred.
