Staff Psychiatrist
A Growing and Progressive Community Health Center (with seven (7) locations throughout the metro Detroit area) has an immediate opening for a Staff Psychiatrist for a busy primary care practice in a patient friendly ambulatory setting.
Position Description
This position will facilitate the mission of Detroit Community Health Connection to ensure the delivery of quality patient care and coordination of direct patient care within the Health Centers. This position will administer to the needs of the patients by following the scope of practice and standards of care accurately. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent disorders of the mind. Diagnoses and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Required Education: M.D. and completion of the Psychiatry residency
Experience:
- Psychiatry 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Licensed to practice medicine in Michigan
- Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry (Required)
- M.D. from an accredited educational institution and completion of the Psychiatry residency (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
